My World - Remastered
An ordinary Dating Simulator.
This is a totally normal dating simulator where you can choose the main character's gender and the one of your partner.
You try and have a normal day, but then something unfortunate happens. Your art teacher pairs you up with what you consider to be the worst person in your school. You wonder how things will turn out for you as you try and cooperate with this student.
Are you going to have a really bad time as you expect, or are things not going to be as horrible as you imagine them to be.
This game was inspired by Doki Doki Literature Club.
This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed.

About the source code:
The source code costs 5$.
If you buy it you can learn how to program some of the effects I've achieved using Ren'Py or you can expand the game further (make mods).
What you cannot do is upload the code to another website as it is without changing anything and claiming you wrote this very code. The source code does not come with the fonts, the audio or the art (background and character sprites) - if you want to use them you can download them from the links above.

Do people usually bend over backwards to convince other people how awesome their friends are, even when it doesn't matter one whit to their friend? oO
...humans are weird.
I also wish there was a non-moralizing choice to say you were single.
The current choices is "I'm so overly moral that I care if I cheat!" or "Let's keep it secret." How about adding a "Nope, I'm single." choice?
The writing could benefit from some improvement...
It's not the worst I've seen, but the dialogues are...not great.
(Try Brandon McNulty on YouTube. He has several good vs bad dialogue option for writing.)
The concept for this story is very good.
And I absolutely see the influence from Doki Doki Litterature club.
But you fall short of hitting the Vally of the Uncanny that made the abovementioned game have such a creepy impact.
Your game, and your characters are a bit...shallow.
I think this game have the potential to become good in the future, but you need to put a LOT of more work into it --especially the writing, (and the tacky horror parts), if you want to make it a great game.
Tyler is cute, but too over-the-top.
Perhaps it's intentional, but the whole game comes off as a parody on Doki Doki Litterature Club.
Like... all the elements is there, but it's done so bluntly and badly that it feels like the story equivalent of doing surgery with a sledghammer instead of a scalpel.
If that makes sense.
And why can't you say yes to dating him btw?
That ending was tragic.

Hey there, thank you for the feedback. I made this game right after playing DDLC just because I loved it so much and because it's fun. It even says that in the description. The reason this game is bad is because it's one of the first times (or second) I tried to make something like this (meaning the programming, finding art, the dialogue, the story, and so on) hence why it's bad. I know it's bad.
I will take notes of your criticism, as even though I made this game 2 years ago, I still believe I can use it when making my future games, but I will not be updating this game any time soon (or probably ever).

Although the Android version grabbed a non-name, I know what you were going for lol. On my computer I would've been called "Gaming" anyway. 😂
